1 The problem
The laptop stopped booting one morning and the SSD did not appear in the BIOS. The owner had no recent backup of the project files stored on it.
2 What we found
Power and connections were normal, but the SSD controller was not responding to normal commands. This pointed to a firmware-level fault rather than damaged memory chips.
3 How we recovered it
- 1Free evaluation and written estimate
- 2SSD placed into a safe diagnostic mode with specialist tools
- 3Controlled read of the memory and translation tables
- 4Data cloned onto a healthy drive
- 5Files checked and delivered on a new drive
4 The result
The project folders and documents were recovered in full and the customer restored them onto a fresh laptop the same week.
